This privacy policy explains how user information is handled in Uni:Note Pocket (“the App”) and on this official website.
1. Information we collect
The App does not require account registration or login, and it does not collect personally identifiable information such as name, address, or email address through in-app input.
Notebook lists, page data, settings, and memorization-layer display states handled by the App are processed on the user’s device based on backups the user imports.
2. Handling of backup files
The App may access Uni:Note backup zip files that the user explicitly selects.
Those backup files are processed only to validate their contents and make them viewable inside the App. The developer does not obtain the contents of those files.
The App also does not rewrite the original backup file itself.
3. On-device storage
The App stores imported backup-based data on the user’s device for viewing purposes.
If you choose a backup file stored in an external service such as iCloud Drive, please review the policy of that storage provider for how data is handled there.
4. Advertising and analytics tools
At this time, the App does not use advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs.
If such tools are used in the future, that will be stated in this policy or in an in-app notice.
5. Provision of personal information to third parties
Except where required by law, the App does not provide users’ personal information to third parties.
6. Changes to this privacy policy
This policy may be updated as necessary.
The revised privacy policy takes effect when it is posted on this website.
